    • APPLICATION
  • Approach Angle 95º
  • Boring
  • SVUBR boring bars use the two 35º corners of the positive rake VBMT inserts mounted at 95º to the axis of the lathe. Their shape allows straight boring to a shoulder and internal profiling. These boring bars can generally work with overhangs of up to 5 times the boring bar diameter without the tool starting to vibrate.
  • Use with VBMT inserts as our item no. J16 and J17 for medium cutting or J18 (VBGT) for cutting aluminium and finish cutting of steel
